Hareteke Masoabi is a former People and Culture Liaison Officer at World Vision International – Lesotho National Office. With more than 10 years’ experience in Human Resources Management and Administration, Mr. Masoabi’s expertise includes talent management, organizational development, training and development, and leadership and management coaching. In these capacities, Mr. Masoabi was responsible for developing and implementing on-boarding, training and development, employee retention, benefits management and employee retentions policies and strategies.

Prior to World Vision International, Mr. Masoabi served as Human Resources Officer and acting Safety Officer at BHP Billiton Mining in the Republic of South Africa, where he was monitoring workplace activities to ensure that workers comply with company policies and government safety regulations. His duties included policy development, safety inspections, safety training and compliance with the occupational & Health Administration.

In his social responsibility, he has been a leader on a British Schools Exploring Society (now British Exploring Society) expedition to Lesotho where his role was to train young explorers in preparation of the expedition and to provide leadership and support to the whole team during the expedition, particularly in a Rock Art team. He has recently been involved in lobbying and organizing. He is an operator who gets things done!

Mr. Masoabi holds a BA Degree in Public Administration and Political Science from the National University of Lesotho. He also holds a certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from NOSA Five Star institution.
